Red Ruby Hotel – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Red Ruby Hotel. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, your stay at our property, and all interactions with us, whether online or on-site. By making a booking or using any part of our website or facilities, you agree to these terms in full.

1. Reservations

Reservations can be made via our website, email, phone, or in person.
All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed by Red Ruby Hotel.
Guests must provide accurate information when booking, including full names, contact details, and expected check-in/check-out dates.
The hotel reserves the right to reject or cancel any reservation at its discretion, particularly in cases of suspected fraud or incorrect information.

2. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in time: From 2:00 PM
Check-out time: By 11:00 AM
Early check-in or late check-out requests must be made in advance and are subject to availability and additional fees.
Valid identification is required upon check-in.

3. Payment Terms

A valid form of payment must be provided at the time of booking or check-in.
We accept cash, major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX), mobile money (Mpesa), and bank transfers.
A deposit may be required to secure the reservation.
All charges must be settled in full before departure unless otherwise agreed.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before arrival: Full refund of any deposits paid.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival: One night’s stay or full booking amount may be charged.
No-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
Group bookings or special packages may be subject to separate cancellation terms, provided at the time of booking.

5. Children & Extra Beds

Children under 5 years stay free when using existing beds.
Extra beds and baby cots are available upon request and subject to availability. Charges may apply.
Maximum occupancy limits per room must be observed at all times.

6. Smoking Policy

Red Ruby Hotel maintains a non-smoking policy in all indoor areas.
Designated smoking areas are provided.
Guests violating this policy may be subject to cleaning fees and possible eviction without refund.

7. Guest Conduct

All guests must behave respectfully towards staff, other guests, and hotel property.
Disorderly conduct, illegal activity, or damage to property will not be tolerated and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse entry or service to any guest who violates these terms.

8. Loss or Damage

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay.
Red Ruby Hotel is not liable for the loss or theft of any personal items. We encourage guests to use the in-room safes provided.
Found items will be kept for up to 30 days; unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.

9. Facilities & Services

Access to certain hotel facilities (such as conference rooms, parking, airport pickup) may be limited and must be pre-booked.
Services offered as complimentary (e.g., Wi-Fi, breakfast) are provided as-is and may be modified without prior notice.
The hotel reserves the right to temporarily close or modify access to certain services for maintenance, upgrades, or events.

10. Pet Policy

Pets are not allowed on hotel premises, with the exception of certified service animals. Documentation must be presented upon arrival.

11. Privacy Policy

Personal data provided during booking is used solely to manage your reservation and improve our services.
We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

12. Force Majeure

Red Ruby Hotel shall not be held liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, fire, or government restrictions.

13. Disputes & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.

14. Amendments

Red Ruby Hotel reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.
